Improved Whiskey Cocktail
Maraschino liqueur
1 barspoon
Angostura bitters
2 dashes
Tap a tool to mark it as yours.
No mixing glass? A pint glass or the shaker tin.
No bar spoon? Any long spoon or a chopstick.
No strainer? Hold the ice back with a spoon or small sieve.
1. Chill
Chill the rocks glass.
2. Add Rye whiskey (60 ml)
Into a mixing glass.
3. Add Simple syrup (5 ml)
4. Add Maraschino liqueur (1 barspoon)
6. Add Angostura bitters (2 dashes)
7. Stir
With plenty of ice, about 30 seconds.
8. Strain
Over one large ice cube.
9. Express Lemon
Twist the peel over the drink, then drop it in.
